The ICG-150 has LED indicators on the top of the system to help you quickly understand how the system is performing at just a glance.
- As soon as the system is powered the Power light will illuminate steady RED.
- Once the system begins to boot, the Status light will become solid GREEN.
- As cellular is trying to connect to the network it will be ORANGE and blink. Once it has successfully connected, the LED will stay ORANGE.
- The signal strength can be roughly estimated from the color of the Signal LED. GREEN is good, YELLOW is marginal, and RED is poor.
- The WiFi LED will be OFF when the WiFi is disabled. When the WiFi is configured as an Access Point (the default state) the LED will be GREEN with a fast blink. When the WiFi is in Client Mode it will randomly flash GREEN when data is transmitted.
As shown in the above diagram some common failures can be easily diagnosed by looking at the LEDs:
- No Power - none of the LEDs are illuminated.
- Check to ensure the connector is seated into the ICG-150.
- Check to ensure that the AC power adapter is plugged into an outlet.
- Verify that the outlet it powered on.
- Use a digital multimeter to verify that the voltage at the connector is between 9VDC and 36VDC.
- Contact Intwine support.
- Fault - when just the Power LED is illuminated and the Status LED is off then the system has an internal fault.
- Power cycle the system to see if the fault persists.
- Please download the logs if possible and contact support.
- SIM Failure - if the Power and Status LEDs are correctly illuminated but Cellular is OFF
- Verify that the system is configured to use the Cellular modem.
- Power the ICG-150 off, remove and re-seat the SIM, then power back on.
- Please download the logs if possible and contact support.
- Unable to Connect - when the Cellular LED blinks and never turns solid the system is unable to connect to the cellular network.
- Verify with Intwine or with your cellular provider that the SIM card is active.
- Verify with Intwine or your cellular provider that the APN programmed into the ICG-150 matches that of the installed SIM card.
- Power the ICG-150 off, remove and re-seat the SIM, then power back on.
- Please download the logs if possible and contact support.
