In some deployments where VLANs have been implemented setting the VID forces the phone to ask for an IP address from the specified VLAN. To set this see the below directions.
1. From the Home Screen, Touch the Menu key
2. Use the arrow keys to arrow to navigate to Settings
3. Then navigate to Advanced
4. Type in the password (admin) with the number pad
5. Select Network and press enter
6. Use the arrow keys to arrow to VLAN (option 2) and press Enter
7. Select WAN Port and press enter
8. Touch the Switch key to enable VLAN
9. Use the arrow keys to arrow down
10.Set VID Number to the needed ID
11.Use the arrow keys to arrow down
12.Set Priority as 0
13.Press the Save key
14.Touch the OK button when the phone asks to reboot
