There may be a time in troubleshooting connectivity especially, when you are asking to remove or change a SIM card.  The directions below cover this in detail, but beware that there is an internal setting called the APN that must match the SIM card for the device to function properly.  For this reason it is imperative that during the process you place the correct card back into the correct location.

  1. Unplug the power cable to the router so the router is turned off.

  1. Locate the SIM panel on the opposite side from the Ethernet ports and slide the panel down.

  1. The SIM slots are labled SIM 1 and SIM 2. To remove a SIM press in it until you hear a click.  the SIM will then pop out a short distance so that your can remove it.

  1. To Install a SIM orientate the card so that the chip side is face down (logo side is face up), and the angled corner goes in first. Then gently push in the sim until it clicks in.
  2. Finally replace the SIM panel and power the router back on.
